Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Great Lake Behavioral Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating engaging and supportive group therapy sessions tailored to our clients' needs, promoting interpersonal relationships and shared experiences.

• Providing personalized individual therapy, where you will help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while guiding them to develop coping strategies and action plans for personal growth.

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented, ensuring they reflect each client's unique needs and preferences.

• Monitoring and evaluating clients’ progress through various assessment tools and methodologies, providing regular feedback to tailor treatment effectively.

• Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care for optimal client outcomes. Consulting with professionals on complex cases to assure comprehensive support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our focus is on providing exceptional care to young adults aged 18 to 30, particularly those engaged in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will have the opportunity to support clients facing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and other emotional or behavioral issues, helping them navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Great Lake Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
