Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify and understand the emotional, social, and financial needs of patients within a school setting.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions that address issues such as anxiety, grief, trauma, and coping mechanisms for students and families.

• Collaborate harmoniously with healthcare professionals—including doctors, nurses, and educators—to ensure the delivery of holistic care tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Coordinate with local community resources and organizations to facilitate necessary post-discharge services, promoting continuous care for patients.

• Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support to clients during critical situations to help stabilize their emotional health.

• Develop discharge plans and assist in connecting patients with appropriate support services, ensuring a smooth transition out of immediate care.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans in compliance with organizational and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, as well as their families, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including behavioral problems, adjustment disorders, and emotional crises. Your role is vital in offering a safe space for self-exploration and growth, providing strategies to foster resilience and coping skills during their educational journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, two years of experience working in a healthcare or school environment is preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n
