Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral HealthJoin a dynamic team in a Geriatric Psychiatry unit with a capacity of 120 beds, where you will work alongside approximately 50 staff members, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and Mental Health Technicians (MHTs). Our patient care ratios are approximately 1:8/9, and the unit is equipped with Welsh Allen Vital Sign Machines and utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records.Job responsibilities include conducting behavioral health admissions and discharges, acting as the lead RN resource with access to training classes, and floating to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed.Required skills include current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification, or equivalent Calm Every Storm Certification, and at least one year of current behavioral health experience. Preferred skills include strong inpatient behavioral health experience.The ideal candidate will possess flexibility and a willingness to manage varying patient acuity levels.
