Job Title: Travel RN - Behavioral Health Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in hospital setting License: Current active state license required Certifications: BLS, CPI Must-Have: Behavioral health experience Description: We are seeking a Travel RN for Behavioral Health with experience in adult psychiatry. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Candidates must hold an active state license at the time of application. BLS and CPI certifications are required. The unit has a total of 28 beds. The staff varies from shift to shift, with different staffing levels. The night shift typically consists of 1 charge RN, 1 RN, and 2 mental health techs. Patient ratios vary between 7 to 10. Equipment used includes oxygen and Dinamap. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Typical responsibilities include behavioral health assessments, medication management, admissions, and discharges. The ideal candidate should be a team player. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Candidates with med/surg experience and experience with higher acuity populations will be given preference. The dress code requires navy scrubs. Weekends include every other weekend, with no on-call obligations.
