Our T.A.C.K.L.E. program is one of the most utilized school-based behavioral health programs in Northwest Ohio, built on real-time intervention, collaboration, and a commitment to removing barriers to care.

We're growing in Defiance and are looking for a compassionate, dedicated therapist who is passionate about making a lasting impact in the lives of children and families.

As a Mental Health Therapist with RFS Behavioral Health, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
• Support children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, behavioral concerns, and other mental health challenges
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on meaningful outcomes
• Collaborate with families, educators, medical providers, and community partners
• Connect families with valuable community resources
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing therapeutic support
• Help students build resilience, confidence, healthy coping skills, and emotional well-being

Working in Defiance means becoming part of a close-knit community where your work has a visible and lasting impact. You'll build meaningful relationships with students, families, educators, and community partners while helping improve access to behavioral healthcare for local youth. RFS serves children throughout Northwest Ohio through school-based and outpatient behavioral health programs, including services from our Defiance office.

• Current Ohio LPC, LPCC, LSW, or LISW license (or license-eligible)
• Passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality behavioral healthcare
