Contracts Consultant - Oil & Gas

Role Overview Contract Consultant coordinates the execution of new and existing contracts between the company and its business partners (Government and non‑Government contracts). Location & Onsite Requirements Preferred location: Houston, Texas. Secondary location: Nashville, Tennessee. This position requires 5 days onsite. Sponsorship not offered. What You Will Do Review and lead contract execution on products, premium and exposure limits; notify government and commercial parties of contract terminations, renewals and re‑instatements. Prepare bids, negotiate specifications and contractual provisions regarding compensation plans and business targets. Ensure execution of order‑to‑delivery standard work process to meet complex contractual requirements. Recommend solutions to ensure alignment to adhere to medium complexity contractual obligations. What You Will Have Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions. Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients. Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers. Pay Range Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 – $146,290.00. Compensation and benefits may vary based on job level, location, performance, and other factors. Salary is only one component of total compensation.
