Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering pertinent diagnostic tests, and constructing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic conditions alongside physicians or independently, depending on your credentialing
• Providing education to patients and families focused on prevention, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies aligned with your practice scope
• Engaging in follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, seamless care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Essential Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days)
