We are a 6-time Carrier President's Award winner and an employee-owned company through our ESOP.As our commercial division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced HVAC professional who can turn construction plans and specifications into accurate, competitive project estimates.Why Join Our TeamUncapped earnings100% employer-paid medical, dental, and health insurance for employeesCompany-provided laptop and cell phoneESOP participation after one yearThree weeks of paid vacationEstablished commercial operationExperienced project and field teamsLong-term career growthThe OpportunityWe are seeking a Commercial HVAC Plan and Spec Estimator to support commercial construction opportunities through detailed takeoffs, estimating, and bid preparation.This role is ideal for someone who understands commercial HVAC systems and can confidently review mechanical plans and specifications, determine project requirements, complete accurate takeoffs, and build competitive estimates.What You'll DoReview commercial construction drawings, mechanical plans, and specificationsComplete HVAC material and equipment takeoffsIdentify project scope, requirements, and potential bid considerationsPrepare detailed estimates for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracted workObtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricingReview addenda and incorporate project changes into estimatesPrepare accurate and competitive bid packagesMaintain organized estimating documentationCoordinate with sales, project management, and operations teamsAssist with project turnover after successful bidsWhat You BringCommercial HVAC estimating, construction, or related industry experienceAbility to read and interpret mechanical plans and specificationsExperience completing takeoffs and preparing estimatesStrong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and systemsStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracyAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlinesStrong computer skills and ability to learn estimating softwareValid driver's license with an insurable driving recordAbility to work in-office dailyExperience in commercial HVAC and the ability to accurately understand project scope are our primary priorities.
