About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in the operational leadership of a category-defining regulatory software company. The COO will be responsible for building and owning the operational foundation, bringing structure, accountability, and operational discipline to the business. This hands-on role requires the COO to align on and implement an operating framework, drive planning, own the financial operating picture, define the organizational structure, and set a high bar for team communication and ownership. The successful candidate will be a thought partner to the CEO on growth, particularly in designing and building robust engines for customer acquisition, expansion, and retention. The ideal candidate for the COO position at the company will have a background in operating experience within a $2-10M ARR SaaS business, with a focus on high agency, ownership mentality, and a strong track record in people management. Must-haves include experience in building operating infrastructure in high-change environments, strong financial acumen, and a hands-on, execution-oriented approach. The role demands an exceptionally organized individual with high personal standards for follow-through and detail, who is also a clear and precise communicator. The company values candidates who are proactive, experimental, and adept at deploying modern tools, including AI, to enhance operational efficiency. While not essential, experience in leading a distributed team, post-acquisition or M&A integration, and fluency in go-to-market strategies are considered advantageous.
