Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of students' mental health needs to identify their challenges and strengths.
• Develop personalized treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions to promote client well-being.
• Engage in regular progress evaluations, adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes for each student.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records that adhere to confidentiality and compliance standards, using secure electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate closely with educators, school psychologists, and other stakeholders to create a holistic support system for our students.
• Educate and empower students and their families about mental health resources and strategies to foster resilience.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research, integrating new findings into practice to enhance care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, providing targeted support to help them manage and overcome issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. This role is crucial in fostering a safe and supportive educational environment that promotes emotional well-being, allowing students to thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Washington state.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• Proficient in implementing solution-focused psychotherapy and other therapeutic modalities tailored to the needs of children and adolescents.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and families.
• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in school settings or with youth is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
• Knowledge of various behavioral management strategies relevant to school environments.
• Experience in developing and facilitating psychoeducational workshops.
