CNC Machine Operator

1st Shift CNC Machine Operator Needed in Phillipsburg, NJ

Our office is currently partnered with a leading company in Phillipsburg, NJ in their search for a CNC Machine Operator.


CNC Machine Operator Job Details:

• Schedule: M-F 5:30am/6am start to 2:30pm/3:30 pm (flexible with start time) unlimited over time
• Pay Rate: $34-40/hr
• Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
• Location: Phillipsburg, NJ

CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate vertical boring mills with minimal supervision
• Machine fabrications and castings to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards
• Operate CNC and manual machining equipment
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and large industrial equipment
• Perform machine setups and make necessary adjustments

CNC Machine Operator Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on machining experience
• Experience with vertical boring mills required
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining processes
• Knowledge of fabrication and casting machining
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls preferred
• Mastercam experience a plus
• Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills
