Legal Billing Specialist

A nationally recognized law firm with a strong U.S. presence is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join its Financial Services team in Atlanta. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office .

The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of client billing, including invoice preparation, e-billing submissions, and account analysis. This role requires strong legal billing experience, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-volume work in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and process client invoices
• Submit and monitor electronic invoices through third-party systems
• Interpret and apply complex client billing guidelines
• Track, analyze, and appeal e-bill deductions
• Resolve billing discrepancies and support attorney and client inquiries
• Assist with month-end billing cycles and reporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal billing experience preferred
• Experience with e-billing platforms and legal billing systems
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads accurately
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work extended hours when deadlines require
