TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Virginia!

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Virginia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Central Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment; Night shift; 36 or 48 hours per week; Weekend rotation required with alternating holidays; Scheduling days vary based on staffing needs

Highlights:

• High-acuity Level I Trauma Center with comprehensive stroke and STEMI capabilities
• Emergency department with 71 beds and approximately 165 patient visits daily
• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse across all shifts
• Epic EMR system utilized for documentation
• Full interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• 24 hours of orientation provided; Up to 40 hours of PTO available during contract

Requirements:

• Active Virginia RN license (or pending; must be in hand by Wednesday before start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Must have either 1 year of Level I trauma experience OR 2 years of Level II trauma experience
• Pediatric patient care experience required (does not need to be in dedicated pediatric ER)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required; TNCC required (may be pending at submission but must be obtained before start date)
• Epic charting system experience required
• BSN preferred
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
