Billing Specialist

Position Title: Accounting Coordinator I ( Billing Support) - Data Entry Clerk/ Billing Clerk Location: Beaumont, TX Duration: 05 Month Contract Status: Onsite Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. The client has approximately 10,000 employees working at over 350 locations across the continent. Requirements / Who we are looking for: Experience in billing, accounting, or accounts receivable. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries. Experience with invoicing and accurate data entry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems (preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting audits and budgeting is a plus. Performance Objectives / What you'll be doing: The position’s purpose is to bill customers as quickly and as accurately as possible after receiving all the required documentation. This role will manage intercompany billing for the Facility to Field Services, assigned journal entries and ad hoc accounting requests by immediate supervisor. Provides support for special projects, audits and annual activities including budget preparation. The Accounting Coordinator I receive training, guidance, and problem solving support from their supervisor on a regular basis. The position is expected to continually work on accounting skill development and enhancing their knowledge of the accounting processes and procedures.
