Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to clients, including psychotherapy and counseling, tailored to the needs of individuals experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans that empower clients toward recovery.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and community organizations, to coordinate holistic care and ensure that client needs are met.

• Participate actively in team meetings to align on treatment goals and share insights on client progress and challenges.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and training to enhance your clinical skills and stay updated on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base within Lenexa, Kansas, focusing on those who are part of under-resourced communities. You will work to build trust and rapport with clients, respecting their unique traditions, beliefs, and values while addressing their mental health needs. The approach is grounded in empathy, with an emphasis on empowering clients to take an active role in their mental health treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active LCSW license to practice in the state of Kansas.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various mental health disorders, including skills in crisis intervention and risk assessment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
