This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented drafter with experience in AutoCAD, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings . The selected candidate will create and revise electrical drawings supporting wiring harness production in an aerospace manufacturing environment .

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an AutoCAD Drafter for a client company in South Fort Worth. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented drafter with experience in AutoCAD, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings . The selected candidate will create and revise electrical drawings supporting wiring harness production in an aerospace manufacturing environment .
AutoCAD Drafter Responsibilities
- Create, revise, and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD .
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Apply knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices when creating and revising drawings.
- Make drawing revisions based on engineering changes and manufacturing requirements.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, connectivity, and required information.
- Assist Engineering and Manufacturing with drawing and documentation updates.
- Maintain accurate drawing files, revisions, and related documentation.
- Communicate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
- Ensure drawings comply with established company and customer standards.
- Perform other drafting and engineering-support duties as assigned.
- 2+ of AutoCAD drafting experience
- Experience with with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and harness drawings or documentation
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
- Electrical drafting and AutoCAD
- SolidWorks or other CAD software
- Aerospace manufacturing and wiring harness documentation
- Engineering change revisions and drawing updates
- Aerospace drawing standards and technical documentation
