Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities Responsible for supervising, labor management, and planning of inbound, outbound, product slotting and customer communication activities. Conducts staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and assure continuous improvement. Keeps senior management and clients informed of critical issues affecting operations. Ensures development of systems and procedures for managing operations in accordance with policies. Manages operations to meet productivity and service goals, complying with terms of the operating agreement with clients. Implements cost savings measures and provides ideas for efficient operations. Meets client specified KPIs and complies with quality system requirements. Provides direction and support to Human Resources. Assists in hiring, training, and professional development programs. Plans daily work schedule and assigns duties to warehouse staff. Requirements Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment 1 year experience in a supervisory role Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation preferred Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point) RF Scanners WMS functions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and personnel skills Good communication skills, written and oral.
