Certified Payroll Coordinator

Position: Certified Payroll & Prevailing Wage Compliance Coordinator Company: Confidential Entertainment and Production Studio Location: Burbank, California Pay Rate: $30.00-40.00/hour Duration: Temporary Contract; 2-3 months Position Summary: We're seeking a Certified Payroll & Prevailing Wage Compliance Coordinator to serve as the single point of contact for certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance across all active projects. This role replaces a split ownership model with one dedicated coordinator managing compliance across general contractor partners including CSI Electrical and Greenskies Clean Energy. Responsibilities & Duties: Own and maintain all LCPtracker accounts and logins across general contractor partners Submit weekly (or per project required) certified payrolls on time for every active job Ensure every DIR eCPR filing lists the correct legal subcontractor entity and matching week ending dates before submission Complete and return Enrollment Forms and onboarding paperwork for new project assignments within 48 hours of request Monitor and respond to all compliance requests, non compliance notices, and payment holds from general contractors, tracking each to resolution Reconcile internal job and site numbers against each general contractor's LCPtracker and DIR project numbers Maintain and update the internal Prevailing Wage hours tracker, cross checking logged hours against submitted certified payrolls Coordinate with field operations to collect accurate weekly hours by job site Track and manage apprentice approval requirements to avoid compliance gaps on crew assignments Serve as liaison to external consultants, including prevailing wage attorneys and compliance monitors Escalate unresolved compliance questions to leadership with a clear paper trail Provide a standing weekly status update on all open compliance items, payment holds, and upcoming deadlines Maintain a master tracker of jobs, DIR numbers, general contractor contacts, status, and due dates Qualifications: Experience with certified payroll reporting and DIR/eCPR filing requirements in California Working knowledge of LCPtracker or a similar compliance platform Familiarity with prevailing wage law and multi subcontractor project structures Strong organizational skills, comfortable owning a high volume of concurrent projects and deadlines Clear, proactive communicator, both internally and with general contractor compliance departments We will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring.
