Customer Business Manager - CPG

Develop and maintain strong relationships with Clients and Customers within a given geographic region Understand client and customer goals and objectives Present targeted strategic client plans to build brand promotion strategies and strengthen brand activation Execute strategic plans for Clients’ brands to Retailers across sales, share, distribution, promotion, pricing, merchandising, and financial management Maintain proactive Client Team communication regarding status, opportunities, expectations, and business-plan needs Communicate and transfer knowledge about Customer changes and insights across relevant CROSSMARK positions Use

as the business planning, communication, and execution framework Assist Business Account Managers and others in developing targeted strategic Client plans Sell additional services to Clients based on client strategy, performance insights, and customer performance by brand or category Provide feedback and assist with CROSSVIEW Business Reviews and presentations Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the CPG industry preferred 10+ years of sales experience PC knowledge and skills in Word, Excel, email, and PowerPoint Communication skills, including listening, presentations, written and verbal skills Insights-based, consultative selling and negotiation skills Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel with pivot tables, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Retailer knowledge and respect Understanding of client strategy and expectations Ability to understand and communicate insights Persuasive selling and professionalism Intermediate category management knowledge, including the “4 Ps” Business acumen and intelligence, including market and industry trends Good organizational and time management skills Customer service orientation Ability to handle pressure Valid driver’s license Ability to travel within the US for customer, client, or company meetings as needed Ability to bring sample products to account calls English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in strategic client relationship management, consultative selling, and category management within the CPG industry.
