Quality Manager | Meat Processing | Relocation Available

A rapidly growing food manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager for a high-volume USDA-inspected meat processing facility in Southwest Indiana. This company supplies products to major national retail customers and continues to expand operations due to sustained growth and demand.

The ideal candidate will have experience in USDA-regulated meat processing environments and a strong background in food safety and quality systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead plant quality and food safety programs
• Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, HACCP, SQF, GMP, and SSOP standards
• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits
• Oversee CCPs, validations, inspections, and corrective actions
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Sanitation teams
• Drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives

Qualifications:

• USDA/meat processing experience required
• Strong understanding of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and food safety systems
• Experience in food manufacturing quality leadership
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Continuous improvement mindset with leadership capability
