Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturer and distributor of specialized technical products serving customers throughout North America. This is an excellent role for a sales, customer service, account management, or business development professional who enjoys building relationships, learning technical products, and supporting customers in a stable, team-oriented environment.

This salaried, non-commissioned Inside Sales Representative position allows you to focus on service, relationship development, product knowledge, and account support without commission pressure. The company offers formal training, supportive leadership, collaboration with internal teams, and long-term career growth potential. You will also have the opportunity to attend industry trade shows and customer events throughout North America, with covered business travel expenses.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers across North America.
- Conduct outbound calls, follow-up communication, and account support primarily by phone and email.
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, product information, and customer documentation.
- Coordinate product demonstrations, shipment tracking, and customer service follow-up with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity notes, and account information.
- Attend industry trade shows, customer events, and meetings with distribution partners as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $55,000 to $62,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salaried, non-commissioned position.
- On-site role located in Bellevue, WA, Eastside area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support customer accounts through phone and email communication.
- Prepare and manage quotations, pricing proposals, and customer follow-up.
- Build customer relationships while developing technical product knowledge.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support customer service, demos, and shipment tracking.

- 2 or more years of experience in sales, customer service, account management, or business development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day communicating with customers by phone and email.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, dependable, professional, and eager to learn technical products and solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, on-site environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting customers in manufacturing, distribution, technical products, food and beverage production, or related industrial markets.
- Prior experience preparing quotes, pricing proposals, or sales support documentation.
- Interest in attending trade shows, customer events, and distribution partner meetings.
- Long-term interest in sales, account management, and customer relationship development.
