Your career at Rebhan’s Business and Wellness Hotel Training as a specialist for gastronomy (m/f/d) Catering specialists have mastered the basics of gastronomy: they welcome and advise guests, serve drinks and food and cash up. The specialist staff are the face and voice of their business to the guest. Their job is to create the guest experience, to be friendly and knowledgeable advisors, salespeople and caretakers. To this end, they also learn the basics of food and its use in the kitchen, as well as everything they need to know about the design and maintenance of guest rooms in the restaurant service. If you decide to train as a catering specialist, we will work with you to determine your focus at the start of your training: restaurant service or system catering. We will be happy to help you choose the focus that suits you best! Welcoming and advising guests You are the first point of contact for our restaurant guests. You know our specialties, make recommendations and advise our guests in all areas relating to our restaurant. Serving drinks and food: You serve our guests drinks and dishes. In addition to classic drinks, we also offer cocktails and high-quality wines and spirits. As we all know, you always eat with your eyes. Your sophisticated hot and cold drinks add that certain something to your restaurant visit. Cashiering You bring the bill to our guests and cash up our guests via our cash register system. If the service is good, you’ll often end up with a nice tip. Preparation of guest rooms You prepare our restaurant for daily operations or upcoming events. This includes setting up the restaurant, placing tables if required or distributing the desired decorations in the restaurant.
