Work Environment\n

This full-time position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You'll be equipped with state-of-the-art telehealth technology to connect with clients and provide high-quality care at a distance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the needs of children and adolescents presenting with various emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that consider developmental milestones and family dynamics, ensuring each plan aligns with the best evidence-based approaches.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to each client, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, or family systems therapy.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at educating and empowering parents and caregivers to support their children's mental health effectively.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's health are considered.

• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and resources to affected children and their families.

• Educate families on mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and community resources to foster understanding and improve outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse group of children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma-related issues, and behavioral challenges. Our approach prioritizes not only the condition itself but also the development of coping strategies and supportive family dynamics, emphasizing a holistic view of mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Kansas.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, ideally working with children and adolescents.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and the application of effective treatment modalities.

• Proficient in delivering both individual and family therapy, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills with clients and their families.

• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with children, teens, and caregivers, fostering an environment of support and understanding.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
