Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is best suited for someone with a strong accounting operations background and a solid foundation in general ledger management and reconciliations. Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals Process and support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data Support preparation of internal financial reports Maintain accounting records and support documentation Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate reporting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA is highly desirable. 2+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong focus on GL management and reconciliations Experience working within a credit union or financial institution is a plus.
