Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager is responsible for managing project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction while leading internal project teams and coordinating with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing complex commercial construction projects, preferably in healthcare (HCAI), life science, higher education, public works, or other institutional markets. This individual is a proactive leader who excels at problem-solving, financial management, and building long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. Lead project teams by establishing clear goals, assigning responsibilities, and driving accountability. Coordinate the efforts of Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and design professionals. Foster a collaborative project environment focused on communication, quality, and successful project outcomes. Project Planning & Execution Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and work plans that support successful project delivery. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget objectives. Coordinate subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and trade partner performance. Review project documents to ensure completeness, constructability, and compliance with contract requirements. Oversee project documentation, change management, RFIs, submittals, and closeout activities. Develop and manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project costs, prepare monthly financial forecasts, and ensure profitability objectives are achieved. Review subcontractor pay applications, owner billings, change orders, and project cost reports. Identify financial risks and implement strategies to maximize project performance. Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and key project stakeholders. Build strong client relationships by providing consistent communication, transparency, and responsive service. Lead project meetings, present project updates, and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. Resolve project challenges collaboratively while maintaining positive working relationships. Identify potential project risks related to design, schedule, procurement, and construction. Work closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely and with exceptional quality. Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned, process improvements, and proactive problem-solving. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor. Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Experience with healthcare (HCAI), life science, higher education, public works, laboratories, civic, or institutional projects is highly preferred. Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project controls. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr
