About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Environment to play a pivotal role in shaping and leading its multi-faceted environmental portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, developing and implementing evidence-informed strategies, and managing a significant budget. This role requires a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in a supervisory capacity, and a deep understanding of the environmental policy landscape, including ecosystem protection and related socio-political dimensions. The Vice President will be expected to have a proven track record in advancing large-scale policy initiatives, managing large teams, and fostering a work environment that values diversity, collaboration, and excellence. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Environment at the company include portfolio management, program oversight, and external engagement. The role demands a leader with strong political acumen, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively on a broad range of environmental topics. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplined approach, the ability to influence positive outcomes, and a commitment to advancing durable, evidence-driven solutions. They will work closely with the Senior Vice President and other members of the leadership team, manage senior directors, and oversee project teams to ensure the organization's environmental initiatives are impactful and aligned with its strategic goals.
