Responsibilities Perform insurance pre-certification duties for surgical procedures, MRI scans, and injections Make payment arrangements for estimated patient responsibility for surgical procedures and MRI scans Contact insurance companies for pre-certification and obtain insurance benefit information Contact patients regarding estimated responsibility amounts and review outstanding balances Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent 1 Year - Business Office Type Experience - Preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and basic human anatomy Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in insurance pre-certification processes for surgical procedures and MRI scans, along with strong knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy.
