Founded in 2018, our rapidly growing company currently operates 20+ sites across the US and Canada, with plans for further expansion.Location: Remote in the United States | Corporate | Full-Time | Clinical ResearchWe're seeking temporary full-time remote Study Participant Recruiters to help us enroll for studies over the next 90 days (approximately). There is the possibility of extending the length of time. The Patient Recruitment Specialist will work remotely and be responsible for all subject recruitment-related activities for assigned clinical trials. This includes but is not limited to mastery of protocol specific inclusion/exclusion criteria, participation in the development of recruitment strategies and plans, and the tracking of recruitment results. If you're passionate about clinical research and ready to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.Responsibilities:Make 60+ outbound calls a day, responding to patients that are interested in participating in a clinical trial; assess preliminary subject eligibility against protocol specific inclusion and exclusion criteriaAnswer incoming calls from potential study patients and assess preliminary subject eligibility against protocol specific inclusion and exclusion criteriaPass qualified patients onto the Sr. Patient Recruitment Specialist for more detailed medical pre-screeningDevelop and maintain working knowledge of assigned medical indicationsReview patient database, vendor portals and other electronic platforms as required to identify potential study patients and initiate contactEnsure accurate collection and entry of patient information into the relevant databases while on the phoneEnsure courteous and efficient service is provided to all callersSupport other members of your team as well as cross-functional team membersAttend and contribute to department meetingsPerforming other administrative tasks, as required.Requirements:Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not requiredBachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or equivalent education or experience preferredPrior experience delivering excellent customer service is required; call center experience a plusMedical terminology knowledge a plusPrior inside sales experience a plusExperience with Salesforce a plusPassion for communicating with people requiredPossess exceptional organizational skills and attention to detailsDisplay excellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to quickly adapt to changes in responsibilities, workloads and prioritiesBe a fast learner with capacity to retain and differentiate key enrollment criteria across clinical trialsDemonstrate a focus on process improvement and be capable of articulating ideas for improving efficiency and maximizing resultsPossess well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to work well independently, as well as with co-workers, peers, supervisor and external customersAble to maintain confidentiality with HIPAA guidelines, patient information and other sensitive informationDemonstrate professionalism, sense of urgency and self-motivation to achieve required metricsRemote Pay Range$21 - $24 USDHeadlands Research will never ask a candidate for personal identifiable information (date of birth, social security number, driver's license information, etc) via email or messenger tools, or for a financial deposit of any kind.Headlands Research is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
