We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Turning Machinist to contribute to our advanced manufacturing processes. This position offers unique growth and career development opportunities in a state-of-the-art facility.ResponsibilitiesMachine parts to specifications using lathe machines.Work from blueprints, engineering instructions, and specifications.Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as micrometers.Set up, adjust, and operate basic and specialized machine tools to perform precision machining operations.Manufacture high-end aerospace machine parts.Essential Skills4 years of CNC turning experience, preferably with a focus on turning.Proficiency with turning centers and lathe machines.Experience in CNC machine operation, particularly CNC turning and milling.Skill in machine setup and operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in aerospace manufacturing.Familiarity with precision instruments like micrometers.Why Work Here?Benefit from working in a cutting-edge facility that values growth and career development. The role requires adherence to precision and quality standards in a technologically advanced setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Glastonbury, CT.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $44000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
