As an Armed Security Professional at a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:45 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:45 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and applicable laws. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail store areas, parking lots, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with clients, the public, and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least five years of armed security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
