As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires Level III Armed Certification in Texas and 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:15 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:15 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed. Maintain an authorized firearm and other assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately; communicate relevant information to site management, Allied Universal leadership, and responding personnel. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
