As a Security Officer Full Time Level III Armed Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment while following applicable laws, policies, and firearm-handling requirements. Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
