As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrols Evenings in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents. In this armed role, you will interact with staff and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as needed. Minimum 5 years of Armed Security, or 3 years Law Enforcement, Corrections or Military experience

Active Level III Armed Security License

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.

Monitor for potential threats or suspicious activity, and report findings according to site protocols.

Support access control by verifying credentials when necessary and ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.

Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
