Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Resource Teacher supporting Pre-K through 2nd grade students in a vibrant school environment. This position is based on-site and is ideal for travel professionals ready to make an impact in the classroom. You will work primarily with a cohort of 20 students, many of whom are on the autism spectrum, providing a blend of push-in and pull-out services. The role emphasizes hands-on resource support, fostering meaningful growth and development for young learners.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Educator Certification required
• Experience working with students in K–2 settings
• Background in special education, especially with autism support
• Ability to manage varied caseloads and provide individualized instruction
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Images of licenses required at the time of application/presentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction and support to K–2 students with special needs
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning abilities
• Develop, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Engage in push-in and pull-out teaching models as necessary
• Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and administrators
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for all students

Position Details:

• Contract runs from ASAP to May 26th, 2027
• Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:40am – 3:20pm)
• Single school assignment for focused engagement
