This full-time role focuses on diagnosing and treating health conditions in an outpatient setting. Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida, our clinic operates within a modern hospital setting that promotes advanced medical care and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. You will work a full Monday to Friday schedule with consistent hours from 5:00 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. The collaborative spirit in our environment is fostered by a robust team comprising 5 MDs and 5 other Nurse Practitioners, ensuring comprehensive patient care and shared knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at Healthy Horizons Clinic, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough physical examinations and maintaining meticulous patient records.
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, including blood tests and imaging studies.
• Diagnosing acute and chronic health conditions and developing customized treatment plans.
• Prescribing medications responsibly and effectively managing patient health outcomes.
• Providing health education to patients and their families regarding disease prevention and management.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and advancing your professional knowledge through continuous education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals seeking urgent care for medical issues ranging from minor injuries to acute exacerbations of chronic conditions. You will be vital in promoting preventive healthcare and addressing health literacy, ensuring that patients understand their medical problems and treatment options.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner studies. A valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida is essential, along with certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). You must also possess an active DEA number.

Preferred Experience

We are especially interested in candidates with proven experience in urgent care, internal medicine, or emergency care. Strong clinical skills supported by extensive experience in primary care settings are crucial. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent communication abilities and a collaborative attitude, as teamwork is key in our care delivery model.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, based on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
