One of the top general contractors in New England is looking to add a Senior Estimator to their growing team. What you'll do:

• Lead the estimating process for large-scale projects from conceptual budgets through final GMP proposals
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate and competitive estimates
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing, ensuring complete scope coverage
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and clients
• Collaborate with project teams during preconstruction to identify cost-saving strategies, phasing options, and value engineering opportunities
• Mentor junior estimators, providing guidance on quantity take-offs, pricing, and bid preparation
• Contribute to business development efforts by supporting proposals and client presentations

What you need:

• 8+ years of estimating experience, primarily with general contractors
• Prior experience as a senior estimator, or be an estimator who's ready to take on a senior position
• Proven ability to manage estimates for commercial projects ranging from $10M–$100M+
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and market pricing
• Proficiency with estimating software (Procore, OST, or similar preferred)
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
