Audit Senior

We havepartnered with a Public Accounting firm in Wakefield, MA. Our client is looking to add an Audit Senior to their Wakefield, MA office. Please read the below description and let us know if you are interested. Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Audit Senior: #1. Must be a CPA candidate. #2. Must have Public Accounting experience. #3. No more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years Responsibilities of the Audit Senior: Preparation of audit, review and compilation of financial statements in accordance with firm and professional standards. Apply appropriate auditing and accounting procedures and professional standards and help the engagement team to develop these skills. Perform bookkeeping services as required Maintain technical expertise in various areas related to industry specialization Perform research and other special projects as necessary Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements of the Audit Senior: BSBA in accounting CPA candidate and advanced degree preferred 3-5 years of experience in public accounting Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organized and detail oriented Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax Key Requirements: Hybrid scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office. No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
