Current agents with good selling ability are earning on average $700.00 - $1,200.00 or more in commission per month depending on season. We offer continuous Professional Sales Training to help you build your sales skills. What you’ll do: Effectively listen and identify customer needs to communicate and offer additional products and services to enhance the customer’s travel experience Guide customers through the rental process using empathy, empowerment and problem-solving skills to provide a memorable experience to delight the customer Assist customers with vehicle exchanges, returns, future reservations and any concerns they may have What we’re looking for: High School Diploma (or equivalent) Valid Driver’s License (without major driving infractions) Effective verbal communication skills with customers, co-workers and management Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays Basic computer skills (typing, data entry) Ability to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm and outstanding communication skills with customers, co-workers and management Ability to use proven sales techniques while providing a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment Extra points for this: 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience Perks you’ll get: $16 an hour after 90 days training period Access to Medical, Life insurance, Flex spending 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Employee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of cars Full training to learn the business and enhance professional skills Avis is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
