Senior Event Manager

What We Need:
As a Senior Event Manager here at Brady Corporation Intelligent Productivity Solutions (IPS), you will assume a global leadership role in orchestrating impactful events that elevate our brand and engage our audience.
You will report directly to our Senior Director, Global Marketing and you will work out of our Fort Mill, SC location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact our marketing success by ensuring flawless event logistics and curating unique and compelling experiences for both industry trade shows as well as annual partner conferences. Your strategic alignment of events with marketing goals will enhance brand recognition, strengthen customer relationships, and drive our marketing achievements.
Brady Intelligent Productivity Solutions (IPS) creates mobile computers, scanners, software and other data capture devices to improve worker productivity across key industries like retail, transportation, logistics and healthcare. An innovator in Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) and a leader in industrial solutions since the 1970s, the business is shaping the future by finding novel ways to significantly improve the efficiency, speed and accuracy of our customers’ complex operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead and oversee the planning, organization, and execution of industry trade shows, hosted partner conferences, and other marketing events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event strategies and objectives that align with business goals.
Manage event budgets, including vendor negotiations, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, travel arrangements, and event setup.
Oversee event promotion and marketing efforts to drive attendance and engagement, in collaboration with the regional marketing teams.
Manage event registration, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up.
Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Brief all event attendees prior, during and post event.
Mentor and guide junior event management team members.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
8+ years of experience in event management, preferably in a marketing or corporate environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in event management software and tools (such as Cvent), with deep knowledge of event logistics and vendor management.
Expertise in developing and executing event strategies that align with business objectives and marketing goals.
Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors to optimize event costs.
Skills & Attributes:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Creativity and innovation in event planning and execution.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
Maturity to handle many stakeholders including senior executives and focus on the event mission and goals.
