Mechanical Assembler - Grade 10 Union Position

The role involves interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints for all assemblies to be fabricated. You will identify all parts required for fabrication and report missing parts. This position requires that you work independently, inspect your own work, and repair or rework the assembly as required, and more. The position requires the demonstrated skillful use of various hand tools and standard measuring equipment such as test gauges, calipers, and scales. If you have experience as an automobile mechanic, HVAC repair, or working on large engines and equipment. There are a few physical demands: ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit and stand, move, lift, or slide an object up to 85 lbs.

This is a union position with a starting hourly rate of $26.04 plus $1.50 per hour shift differential
