School Occupational Therapist Contract

School Occupational Therapist Contract provides a 12-week opportunity to deliver therapy services to elementary students with complex needs in Mendon, MA. The role offers competitive pay and benefits and supports professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to elementary school students with complex needs, including those who are wheelchair-bound or have feeding tube requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and track progress.
• Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions tailored to student requirements to promote functional independence.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all facility and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Massachusetts OT license or equivalent, or license review completed.
• Minimum 1 year experience in pediatrics, outpatient clinics, developmental centers, or school settings.
• Experience working with complex needs such as wheelchair-bound or feeding tube patients.
• 1:1 therapy experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work 4 days a week, 8 hours daily.
• Ability to manage an approximate 30-student caseload.
• Background check and compliance with facility standards.
