Senior Project Manager

Overview Senior Project Manager at Gorman Moisture Protection, Inc. Location: El Paso, Texas (In-Person). Employment Type: Full-Time. Gorman Moisture Protection, Inc. has proudly served the commercial construction industry for 80 years. We specialize in commercial waterproofing, joint sealants, expansion joints, air barriers, firestopping, traffic coatings, and other building envelope systems throughout Texas and New Mexico. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multiple commercial construction projects from award through closeout while mentoring our growing project management team. Position Summary The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial waterproofing projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between owners, general contractors, architects, suppliers, field personnel, and company leadership. Responsibilities Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously. Review contracts, project specifications, and construction drawings. Develop and maintain project schedules. Monitor budgets, labor costs, equipment, and material expenditures. Prepare, negotiate, and manage change orders. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews. Conduct project meetings and maintain communication with owners and general contractors. Review project progress and identify potential schedule or cost impacts. Ensure compliance with safety requirements, contract documents, and quality standards. Track project profitability and forecast financial performance. Mentor Assistant Project Managers and project staff. Assist with project planning, procurement, and project closeout documentation. Qualifications Minimum 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience. Experience managing projects valued from several hundred thousand dollars to multi-million dollars. Strong understanding of commercial construction contracts. Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, scheduling, and project documentation. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Bluebeam is preferred. Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectSight, or similar project management software is a plus. Knowledge of waterproofing, building envelope systems, or specialty construction is preferred but not required.
