Key Qualifications:

• Active LPN/LVN licensure is required
• At least one year of prior experience in a school-based nursing or similar pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Comfortable assisting with routine health office duties, as well as providing 1:1 coverage as needed
• Ability to effectively collaborate with school staff, students, and parents

Role Responsibilities:

• Partner with the building’s school nurse to manage daily health office functions, respond to student medical needs, and offer first aid when necessary
• Deliver individualized and emergency care for students with chronic conditions, particularly supporting a diabetic student as needed
• Serve as a substitute 1:1 support or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) when a regular staff member is absent
• Provide clear and timely documentation of all care and interventions
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to relevant school and nursing protocols
