Pediatric SLP in Dover, NJ

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school setting in Dover, NJ, with a start date of ASAP through the end of the school year on June 19th. The role involves providing speech therapy services primarily to preschool-aged children at a single campus. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, aiming for approximately full-time hours.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy to preschool students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Deliver services in-person, with potential incorporation of teletherapy methods when appropriate.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience working in school settings, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy.
• Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage young children effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
