IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)
US Department of War
Duties
Oversee the cybersecurity program of an information system or network and its implications within the organization, program, or other areas of responsibility, to include strategic, personnel, infrastructure, requirements, and other resources.
Develop cyberspace plans, strategy, and policies and procedures to support and align with organizational cyberspace missions and initiatives.
Ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
Provide advice and guidance in implementing IT security policies and procedures in the development and operation of network systems.
Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.
