Senior Regional Property Manager | $190k - $210k base salary | Bethesda

Your new company

Hays has partnered with a leading owner, operator, and developer of high-end retail assets to identify a Senior Regional Property Manager to oversee a premier portfolio of shopping centers across Maryland and Virginia. This position will be responsible for leading a team across assigned grocery anchored and lifestyle assets, delivering a first-class experience for tenants and customers.

Your new role

In this leadership role, you will be accountable for the overall success of a substantial retail portfolio, ensuring properties operate at peak performance while meeting financial objectives for the region. You will oversee budgeting, capital planning, vendor management, tenant relations, and financial reporting, while identifying opportunities to support long-term investment strategies. As the Senior Regional Manager, you will also work closely with leasing and development teams to maximize occupancy, tenant retention, and asset value. Leading an assigned property management team, you will foster a high-performance culture focused on customer service, operational excellence, and professional growth. Building strong relationships with tenants, ownership groups, contractors, and stakeholders will be key to ensuring the continued success of the portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed

10+ years of experience in retail property management.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, or related field.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a team and work collaboratively.
Knowledge of retail leases, tenant fit-outs and capital projects.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
