Customer Experience Manager

Position Type: Hourly. Starting Salary: $20.00. Responsibilities Ensures all crew members are wowing the customer through personal contact with customers. Trains crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring each guest has a fast, friendly checkout experience. Leads assigned store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals provided by the District Manager. Leads front‑end operations, ensuring front‑end merchandising meets or exceeds brand standards. Ensures all front‑end equipment is in working order and associates are trained to include services where applicable. Handles opening and closing procedures, maintains store cleanliness and readiness for customers. Performs store manager duties in the manager’s absence. Partners with store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise all crew members. Reviews corporate communications and responds accordingly. Partners with store leadership team on merchandising procedures and world recovery. Performs store maintenance: taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stockroom. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred. Minimum two years of management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task. Creative thinking. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Essential Job Functions Frequently operates cash register. Frequently moves merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5‑10 feet. Frequently ascends/descends ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Frequently kneels, bends, twists, and stoops in the stock room and on the sales floor. Frequently communicates and exchanges information with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face in the store, and with managers and coworkers; exchanges accurate information as required. Frequently moves across the sales floor assisting customers and moving merchandise between stock room and sales floor. Works a flexible schedule to meet business needs including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required. Identifies and follows email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs. Remains in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
