IT Support Technician (L1) - San Francisco San Francisco, United States Full Time ASAP Start Date 17 Aug 2027 End Date About This Job This is a full-time, onsite role based in San Francisco for an L1 IT Support Technician. The role focuses on resolving escalated end-user technical issues, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems, and providing reliable day-to-day IT support. Proficiency in English is required. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1 technical support Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and end-user connectivity issues Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and other peripherals Troubleshoot LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and general network connectivity issues Install, configure, upgrade, and support end‑user devices and standard business applications Manage assigned tickets from escalation through resolution, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates Escalate complex or infrastructure‑related issues to L3 or specialist IT teams when required Support user onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, and equipment replacement Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve recurring issues and improve the end‑user support experience Must Have Experience L1 IT Support / Desktop Support Hardware Troubleshooting Software and Operating System Troubleshooting Network Connectivity Troubleshooting Device and Application Installation Ticketing Systems Nice to Have Skills Mobile Device Management (MDM) Conference Room / AV Support Basic Network Installation and Cabling User Account and Access Management Shift is from 12:00 to 21:00 America/Toronto time.
