MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

Manufacturing Compliance SpecialistThis position must comply with all security guidelines, environmental health and safety regulations, and the current good manufacturing practices required by the job function. Assures that all manufacturing documentation related to operation and cleaning is completed as required by manufacturing instructions. Cleans and sanitizes rooms, storage containers, and process equipment according to standard operating procedures. Documents all cleanings on the chronological record/cleaning register. Weighs and checks raw materials. Assembles, cleans, and sanitizes process equipment/materials, monitors processes. Completes work instructions and maintains clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements. Assists in maintaining material and components inventory level. Supports safe work environment. Works on assignments that are routine in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. Receives, trains on and understanding of general instructions on routine work. Works in teams and has continual interaction with members of his/her team as well as other manufacturing teams throughout the production process to exchange information regarding the rooms in process. Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment that requires gowning. Required to carry and/or lift to 30 pounds several times a day while handling production equipment and/or materials. Required to push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds several times a day while handling production equipment and/or materials. Work in areas that may have strong magnets. Work in areas where handling human blood products (biosafety level 2) may be required. May work in areas with exposure to vapor phase liquid nitrogen. Must be able to work nights, weekends, mandatory bi-weekly overtime, and holidays in a 12-hour shift structure. Shift: 4pm to 4:30 am Wed, Thu, Fri alternate Sat
