Job Details Job Title: Human Resources Manager Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494 Department: General Administration Reports to: General Manager Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 Revised: January 1, 2026 Summary The Human Resources Manager oversees and manages all aspects of the organization’s recruitment, hiring, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. The role serves as a bridge between management and employees to address concerns and maintain a positive work environment. The Manager handles daily HR functions for the Wisconsin Rapids operations and works cooperatively with the company’s human resources staff in Vacaville, California. Accountability #1 – Leadership Development (25%) Develop a high‑performing management team, focusing on people development. Contribute to the development of the company’s culture and overall vision. Lead, train, and motivate others to promote employee engagement. Provide guidance for improvement and solution‑focused support. Build trusting relationships with key partners and stakeholders. Assist recruiting personnel with talent recruitment and employee retention. Build and maintain a culture that promotes safety, quality, productivity, and continuous learning. Actively promote Lean Six Sigma culture. Accountability #2 – Human Resources Management (50%) Act in an impartial manner to ensure all individuals receive fair and equitable treatment. Responsible for employee/human resources component of any third‑party audits. Ensure all employment‑related documents and company documents are current. Work with Wisconsin facility managers on all personnel issues. Responsible for internal communications, including employee updates, newsletters, memos, benefits changes, etc. Ensure any necessary employee corrective action steps adhere to company policy and are documented. Represent the company and ensure that employment policies are understood and adhered to. Provide leadership and direction to management staff as necessary. Develop and maintain partnerships with temporary employment agencies, ensuring qualified and reliable personnel are added to the employment base when necessary. Work with the General Manager for business staffing and headcount needs. Recruit and interview direct‑hire management positions. Work cooperatively with other managers, supervisors and administrative personnel. Provide additional operational support to the General Manager as needed. Accountability #3 – Communication (15%) Promptly inform the company’s senior management group of known or anticipated impacts to the business that will negatively impact revenue, profits, operations, or reputation. Ensure clear and timely communication within the Wisconsin operations to maximize productivity and ensure directional alignment. Act as a problem solver and team player. Have effective written and verbal communication skills that are clear and adaptive. Communicate professionally with all personnel levels while always maintaining mutual respect. Be experienced with computer business software, i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, and ERP. Keep the management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified during routine activities and actions being taken to improve the situation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting and speaking in groups. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships. Experience utilizing data to identify trends in business that support strategic and tactical adjustments to ongoing situations. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
